What To Do Tonight: Go gaga for Girls of the Gravitron

Another week, another Monday when the only decent rock 'n' roll in town can be found in the Washington Beach region (that's North Campus for the uninitiated). Specifically, I speak of The Summit, 2210 Summit St., where a splendid bunch of Memphis warblers known as Girls of the Gravitron will present their highly pleasing reverb-drenched lo-fi. Crackly cacklers Psychedelic Horseshit will support ably — or perhaps not so ably; finding out whether they'll be on their game is part of the fun. The mysterious Pizza Slayer will also take the stage. 10 p.m., $5 son!

Also, the second half of the two-night 24 premiere airs tonight at 8 on Fox if you dare check back with Jack after that disastrous sixth season.
