Song of the Day: Fever Ray

Even when it sounds like what movie producers think devil worshippers listen to, Fever Ray's music is wildly intriguing -- sounds that magnetize you even when they make you uncomfortable or even scare you to death.

In many ways, Fever Ray is simply a darker, deeper, more intense edition of The Knife, a precursor project also helmed by Swedish siblings Karin Dreijer Andersson and Olof Dreijer. In other ways, it's something new entirely -- talented, experimental musicians possessed by new demons and even more skilled at using electronic instruments to embody fear, sadness and solitude.
