  • The Central Ohio Rain Garden Initiative launched a website with a focus on local projects: why they're desirable, how to design and install them and places to view them up close in central Ohio.
  • The Gem City Jam, a two-day festival of art, music and nature, will be held in Dayton April 24-25. Proceeds benefit Glen Helen nature Preserve, which offers trails, a raptor center and outdoor education programs.
  • For more info on the Metro Parks levy to appear on the May 5 ballot, click here. I'll have a full report on how much the issue will cost -- and what it will do -- next week.
