New national comp features cool Columbus bands

Almost Ready Records is releasing a compilation of some of the best bands in the grimy, melodic underground rock scene that I'm gonna keep calling "shitgaze" 'cause I'm a blogger and that's what I do. Among the bands on this fine slab of vinyl are this city's own Times New Viking and Guinea Worms, plus ex-Columbus act Pink Reason. Word is these songs won't appear elsewhere, so if you want to hear this stuff, grabbing one of the 2,500 copies would be wise. They began taking pre-orders via PayPal over the weekend. More information can be found in the Terminal Boredom forum.
