What To Do Wednesday: Burlgar, The Town Monster, Jellyhearts

The best show on my radar tonight is something called the "Rock 'N' Roll Sideshow" at Circus, 1227 N. High St. Two new-ish local bands, Burglar and The Town Monster, will join Cincinnati transplants The Jellyhearts for a pretty damn solid roundup of talent. Burglar, a wide-ranging ensemble featuring Adam Smith (EDIT: NOT the Adam Smith from Deadsea nor the one from Necropolis/Unholy Two/CDR) and The Main Street Gospel's Adam Scoppa, plays lounge-ready rock music that folds Eastern and Western Europe up into one delicious crepe. The Town Monster's indie pop is more straightforward but equally promising, while Jellyhearts blast you to bits with raunchy blues rock. See you there at 10 p.m.
