What To Do Thursday: Pterodactyl
Lots of cool shows this Thursday, including a rock 'n' roll extravaganza at Circus, a downtempo chill sesh at Skylab and a sweet soul-jazz happening at Rumba. But allow me to focus on one of the touring acts in our town this evening, a band by the name of Pterodactyl. I definitely dig this Brooklyn bunch, whose Adderall-infused intensity and paradigm-blasting melodic sensibilities will be on display tonight at Cafe Bourbon Street, 2216 Summit St. TV Eye and The Ill Fits' Paul Goll and Lara Yazvac will open this thang. 9 p.m., $7 at the door.
