As a sad, sappy sucker who got into Pavement a few months after they disbanded in 2000, I'm ecstatic to report that the band will officially reunite next year for their first concerts in 10 years. Hopefully those Coachella rumors will come true because announcing this thing a full year in advance seems like absolute craziness. (via Pitchfork)
Coldplay settled with Joe Satriani, ending the lawsuit over the band allegedly ripping off the bald-headed shredder for "Viva La Vida."
