A Little Taste of the Future

Sprawled out across the Columbus State campus Downtown, Taste The Future is widely known as one of the best food events of the year. As per usual, the 2009 version of it lived up to its reputation--only so much so that I was having too much fun to turn into G.A. Samsa, my troubled & troubling shutterbug alterego. That changed somewhat late in the evening after I visited the Columbus Fish Market's tent more than I probably should have. See, one of CFM's "treats" (and the subject of lots of local buzz) was an oyster shooter i.e. a shot of cold Grey Goose vodka poured onto a not-too-salty Conn. oyster. Shooters were available in unlimited quantities. So after I'd had a few, I got up & started snapping off these photos.
