  • Everyone is raving about the new PBS documentary series by Ken Burns. Full episodes of The National Parks: America's Best Idea -- along with cool extras -- are available here.
  • Earlier today, two Ohio state senators introduced a bill that would establish a safe lateral passing distance of three feet when a motor vehicle passes a bicycle or other non-motorized vehicle. As an avid biker, I think this is a great idea.
  • Organizers of the inimitable Doo-Dah Parade will host Urban Croquet at noon Saturday, Oct. 25, in the Short North. If you've never played, it's great.
  • Don't forget to check regular updates on fall color here. I'll have my favorite spots in this week's Venture.
