What To Do Monday: Arctic Monkeys

Columbus Alive

Their days of "next big thing" status are long gone, but Arctic Monkeys are as solid as ever, if not better. So their show tonight at the Newport, 1782 N. High St., as my preview attests, should be, in the parlance of Gwen Stefani, hella good. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets cost $25, though they're sold out, so you'll have to hit up Craigslist, scalpers or generous friends if you want to go. (Hang outside with Help Is On the Way, perhaps?) Retro-rockin' pretty girls The Like will open the show.
