The cinnamon sticks, frosted butter cookies and cream-filled chocolate-covered doughnuts will be back on the shelves of a popular Upper Arlington bakery next week, the Dispatch reported.

A groundswell of customer support is behind the planned opening Monday of the former Tremont Goodie Shop, which will be called the Original Goodie Shop under its new -- and former -- owner Debbie Smith.

Smith, whose daughters Miranda and Emilie also will work at the bakery, said it will have a preview day Saturday. They'll give away free iced butter cookies to thank customers for rallying to reopen the store.
