The Wolfgang Puck Express restaurant at the Shops on Lane Avenue in Upper Arlington closed yesterday, the prelude to a move. However, a new location hasn't been chosen and a reopening date has not been set, the Dispatch reported.
The franchise owners want to "upgrade to a larger and more full-service atmosphere," said Corey Ladson, the restaurant's general manager.
The fast-casual restaurant featured hand-crafted gourmet pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, soups and fresh salads. Most of the entrees ranged from about $6 to $9. At the time of the restaurant's opening in 2004, its namesake, Wolfgang Puck, told The Dispatch that he thought Columbus could support three or four of the restaurants.
