Maza Blaska presents one hybrid I haven't heard before: electro-tango. (OK, it's a lot more tango than electro, and there's some serious indie rock undertones in there, but you know how we bloggers love our microgenres.) The Columbus foursome features Karate Coyote singer/musical woman about town Sam Corlett performing alongside main squeeze Yoni Mizrachi. It's a lot more laid-back than the frenetic sounds of Corlett's other band, and on this lovely Monday afternoon, I'm digging the chance to recline in my desk chair and dream of venturing out into the sun. Once night falls, they'll play Skully's, 1151 N. High St., this evening with Jordan O'Jordan, Netherfriends and DJ Self Help. 10 p.m., $5.
