A.A. Bondy, one of the best singer-songwriters in the folk-rock game, is bringing his laments to The Basement, 391 Neil Ave., tonight. His new record, When the Devil's Loose, is as awesome as American Hearts, the 2007 debut that shot the former Verbena frontman to acclaim. Tickets are $10, doors open at 7 p.m. and Willy Mason opens the show. For more on Bondy, read my preview.

Also in town tonight are pop-punk sensations All Time Low. They'll play Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St., with support from We the Kings, Hey Monday and The Friday Night Boys. $22 cover, 6 p.m. doors.
