What To Do Tuesday: Extreme pop vs. extreme noise

Happy snow day, folks. In all my years of contrastin', I don't know if I've ever hyped two shows so diametrically opposed:

Yesterday I mentioned tonight's big noise show at Skylab, 57 E. Gay St., with Sword Heaven, Grey Skull and Biff Boff Barf. That'll run from 9 p.m. to midnight and likely will cost you a $5 donation.

An exponentially greater number of folks will be interested in the Schottenstein Center's featured act for tonight: Black Eyed Peas. I tracked the band's fluctuating popularity and credibility in last week's Headliners feature. Ludacris and LMFAO will open. 7:30 p.m. start, with tickets at $82.50, $62.50 & $39.50. Even though the Schott is an OSU property, I'm assuming this won't be canceled like Tinariwen at the Wexner Center.
