The Pavement reunion launched Monday in New Zealand. Pitchfork posted several videos, including the above clip that stitches together several songs. "Gold Soundz" soundz golden, but there are also parts that remind me why this band had such a sketchy reputation as live performers.

Dustin Hoffman will make his TV series acting debut as the star of a new HBO show called "Luck."

The Daily Swarm has an update on Guru from Gang Starr's condition after surgery.

EW tracked Jay Leno and David Letterman on the night of Leno's return to "The Tonight Show."

The latest rockers to have their own shoe: The Clash.

AV Club has a Random Roles feature with Lili Taylor.

One way to spend an hour: Listen to this interview with Jay Electronica, who'll be at BOMA this Friday.

Still no Doc Jensen column in sight, so we'll have to settle for the latest Totally Lost video instead for now.

Gorillaz' new video for "Stylo" is up at YouTube. Not embeddable here, unfortunately. It stars Bruce Willis!

I can, however, embed this video from Owen Pallett, entitled "Lewis Takes His Shirt Off." Pallett will be at the Wexner Center on April 13.
