Throwback Thread: Bread

Until last Monday afternoon, I knew only three things about Bread:

1. They played soft rock. 2. You could find most of their albums in a record store for $1. 3. Homer Simpson likes them.

Then, watching an infomercial for Time-Life's awesome, 11-disc Classic Soft Rock Collection, I heard "Baby I'm-A Want You." Floored, I've played this track about 10 times a day since then. You'll probably do the same once you hear its first glorious refrain, which first hit airwaves in 1972.

Just under 40 years later, it's still pure, soft-rock gold.
