What To Do Thursday: Bone Thugs, Fanfarlo, Lukas Ligeti

No foolin': Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is the night's biggest show. Cleveland's favorite sons were supposed to be bringing the full lineup to Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St., but I'm not sure whether Flesh-n-Bone's arrest last weekend affects all that. Either way, the show goes on. Doors open at 7 p.m., and tickets cost $25.

Fanfarlo at Outland, 95 Liberty St., ain't too shabby either. The Britons are kind of a Coldplay-ed out version of Arcade Fire. Lawrence Arabia and Robert Francis are on the bill too. First band starts at 8 p.m. sharp, and it's expected to be over by 11, so show up early. Costs a mere $5.

And you could make a case for the Lukas Ligeti show at Skylab, though. Ligeti, the son of famous composer Georgy Ligeti, plays some sort of avant-garde electro marimba. Lots of avant instrumental action going on with Wizards (Deadsea's Adam Smith, Gerard Cox, Hassan Rassaq), experimental percussionist Ben Bennett and Cleveland homemade synth-smith Fluxmonkey on the bill. 8 p.m. sharp, $5.
