Movies: Grocery bagging documentary!

I used to be an artist, and I've been saddened by the slow demise of my medium.

I'm speaking, of course, of grocery bagging. My after-school job became a passion of placement of hot and cold items in a secure and well-built home. I can still check a dozen eggs for cracks before you can say "paper or plastic?". Seeing all those self-serve checkouts at the grocery now makes me cry a little inside.

I even went down the competitive route, though I never advanced beyond my chain (Big Bear, RIP) to state or nationals.

That brings me to "Ready, Set, Bag!" It's an upcoming documentary about this fascinating (to me) world. It reminds me of "Spellbound," which was a sweet and funny look at the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

The trailer is below. And it's moving up my "most anticipated" list as we speak.
