What To Do Monday, part 2: David Dondero at The Treehouse

David Dondero's music reminds me of the deadpan poetry rock of David Berman's Silver Jews. There's a strong scent of that Bright Eyes ball-of-nerves folk-rock in there too. And when Minnesota's Dondero plays solo tonight at The Treehouse, 887 Chambers Rd., I imagine Tree of Snakes' Jeff Fernengel will be an appropriate complement as well, though much goofier than whatever Dondero kicks out. This'll be $8 at the door, which opens at 9 p.m.
