Known for work with Jurassic 5 and mind-shattering collaborations with DJ Shadow, Cut Chemist returns with a new release that focuses on Ethiopian and Afro-Cuban jazz. The idea for Sound of the Police arose last year when the DJ had a gig opening for the legendary Mulatu Astatke. The pair of 20-minute mixes should satisfy hip-hop heads, jazz fans and, you know, those who like to get down.
