NBC's "Outlaw" gets axed

The Jimmy Smits vehicle "Outlaw" has been canceled after consecutive weeks of poor ratings. It's no surprise the ratings are low as it was one of the worst new shows of the fall season and I predicted it was doomed last week. Filming has been shut down, but if you're a fan of "Outlaw" you can catch the already completed episodes at 8 p.m.on Saturdays until Nov. 13. Then, it's kaput. I wish Fox would burn off the remaining "Lone Star" episodes in the same way because it was a great show, but alas it looks doubtful.
