A new art gallery, called Brandt-Roberts Galleries, is holding its grand opening today in the space at 642 N. High St., which used to house Kathryn Gallery. The event is from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Former Kathryn employee Michelle Brandt has opened the location with partner Bryan Roberts, owner of the Bryan H. Roberts Gallery in Bexley. It will specialize in fine paintings and sculpture from the 20th and 21st centuries, and will offer mid-century modern, impressionistic and abstract pieces.

It will be open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
