It seems like a perfect fit. The world's best-selling horror novelist is in talks to write an upcoming episode of "The Walking Dead." King told Entertainment Weekly that "Dead" showrunner Frank Darabont is very interested in having King write an episode for season 2 or 3. Darabont fired the entire staff after the first season and said he would takeover much of the writing duties while hiring freelancers to fill in here and there. King is a pretty big name freelancer. Making the deal even sweeter is the plan for King to co-write the episode with his son Joe Hill, creator of the excellent horror comic "Locke & Key," which is currently in development with Fox for a fall premiere.
