On April 30, I and about 100 other art-loving people from Columbus were videotaped being splattered with paint to raise awareness of the Columbus Arts Festival. What do paint splatter and the festival have to do with each other? Show up at the Westin ballroom, 310 S. High St., Downtown, tonight to find out.

A video that festival organizers hope will go viral on YouTube will be unveiled tonight. So will this year’s commemorative print, “Columbus in Color,” by Columbus artist Amy Neiwirth, whose Sweet Stella Designs have been featured in Alive.

Among the local notables appearing in the video: CCAD’s Denny Griffith; Nanette Maciejunes of the Columbus Museum of Art; and WBNS 10-TV personalities Angela Pace, Jerry Revish, Angela An and Karina Nova. Maza Blaska and Phantods provided music for the video.

Things kick off at the Westin at 6 p.m. Organizers hope to unveil the print at 6:30 p.m. and show the video at 6:45 p.m.
