What To Do Tuesday: ZZ Top, Skynyrd, Daytrader

Columbus Alive

Two Tuesday live music picks:

•The biggest rock show in Columbus this Tuesday is undoubtedly the ZZ Top/Lynyrd Skynyrd double bill at the Schott, 555 Borror Dr., a chance for old-timers and young folks alike to indulge their Southern swag. Our esteemed editor Kristen Schmidt captured the essence of this one in last week's paper. Tickets are $73.50, $63.50 and $43.50, but you can get one for $20 by entering the password "GAS" at ticketmaster.com. Special guest Dean Alexander kicks things off at 7 p.m.

•Don't sleep on Daytrader, though. The New York pop-punks make emo thrilling again. They'll be at Carabar, 115 Parsons Ave., with Hostage Calm, Light Years and Colors. 9 p.m. doors. Free show. Here's a Facebook event for your RSVPing pleasure.
