Columbus gets major foodie cred from Forbes
Go ahead and add "foodie-hotspot" to Columbus's growing list of accolades.
The capital city has been getting some serious love from national rankings lately, and the good news keeps coming. Forbes Travel Guide named Columbus one of the premiere "under the radar" food destinations, citing Cameron Mitchell, Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams and The North Market as must-taste destinations for visiting gourmands.
In addition to now being named as a destination for gastronomes, the Buckeye State was also named one of the most affordable cities and also one of the most foul-mouthed. There are definitely worse things to be known for.
