This week Middle West Spirits announced the addition of a second location with 23,000 square feet of warehouse space in the Milo Grogan neighborhood. Its distilling and retail front will remain in Short North at 1230 Courtland Ave.

Middle West Spirits founder Brady Konya said in a press release that the additional space serves multiple purposes. It will allow Middle West to expand its barrel-aged spirit line, add new bottling equipment, store raw materials and house office space. The new site will also enable expansion of its Tavern Vinegar line developed by Cleveland Chef Jonathon Sawyer.

The new facility will be located near Fifth and Cleveland avenues in Milo Grogan. Konya said the site will be adjacent to a new Rogue Fitness project announced recently by Mayor Coleman.

In addition to the new warehouse space, Middle West Spirits is also increasing the production capacity of its Short North distillery. Middle West currently distributes its OYO line of vodkas and whiskeys to 12 different states and Washington, D.C.
